بقرید ’’بقرعید‘‘ کایہ تلفظ بروزن مفعول عام بول چال میں بہت مدت سے ہے۔ چنانچہ نظیراکبرآبادی کے یہاں ہے، (نظم ’’عید الفطر‘‘ ؎ ایسی نہ شب برات نہ بقرید کی خوشی جیسی ہر ایک دل میں ہے اس عید کی خوشی آج کل ہرجگہ یہ تلفظ رائج ہے اور اسی کو صحیح سمجھنا چاہئے۔ شعرمیں بھی یوں ہی بندھے توکچھ مضائقہ نہیں۔ دیکھئے، ’’بخرید‘‘، ’’بقرعید‘‘، ’’بقرید‘‘، ’’ بکرید‘‘ ۔
