विशेष • कथा है कि किसी स्त्री ने नई चूड़ियाँ पहनीं। वह चाहती थी कि लोग उन्हें देखें और प्रशंसा करें। किसी का ध्यान उनकी ओर न जाते देख एक दिन उसने घर में आग लगा दी। लोगों की भीड़ इकट्ठा हो गई। जब उसने हाथ उठाकर जलते हुए घर की ओर इशारा किया, तो किसी की नज़र चूड़ियों पर पड़ गई तो उसने पूछा कि अरे तुम ने चूड़ियाँ कब बनवाईं? स्त्री ने उत्तर दिया कि ये प्रश्न पहले पूछा होता तो मैं अपने घर को आग क्यूँ लगाती और ये वाक्य कहा।
