- قدیم وضع کا قفل جس کے اندر کوئی پرزہ نہیں ہوتا ، اس کے کڑے کا ہر ایک سرا لچک دار آنکڑے کی وضع تیر کے پھل کی شکل کا ہوتا ہے جو قفل کے منھ میں داخل ہوتے وقت دب جاتے اور اندر جاکر پھیل جاتے ہیں جس سے کڑا اٹک جاتا ہے یہ آنکڑے اصطلاح میں قفل کے کڑے کے پر کہلاتے ہیں ، فتح سندھ کے بعد اس کا رواج سب سے پہلے گجرات میں ہوا اور یہی اس کی وجہ تسمیہ ہے.
