विशेष • लड़का पैदा होने पर ढोल बजता है और मंगल गीत गाए जाते हैं। साथ ही ढोल बजने का अर्थ ढिंढोरा पिटना या बदनामी होना भी है। यह कहावत 'न जनती न ढोल बजता' के रूप में अधिक प्रचलन में है।
