- شمسی سال ۳۶۵ دن اور ایک چوتھائی دن کا ہوتا ہے لیکن ایران کے منجین ، متاخرین شمسی مہینہ تیس دن کا قرار دیتے ہیں اور باقی پانچ دن اسقتدار کے آخر میں بڑھا دیے ہیں اور ان ہی پانچ دنوں کو جو گویا سال کے درمیان سے چرا لئے گئے مسترفہ کہتے ہیں بعض لوگوں نے اس نام کی یہ تو جہیہ کی ہے کہ ایک ایرانی بادشاہ کا وزیر ان پانچ دنوں کا محاصل تمام ملک سے وصل کر لیتا اور حساب میں نہ لگاتا تھا اس لئے یہ دن مسترفہ یعنی چرائے ہوئے کہلاتے گئے .
