मूसा ही ईसा के लिखे को पढ़ सकते हैं, बुरी हस्तलिपि के लिए कहा जाता है
विशेष • इस कहावत के संबंध में मशहूर है कि वास्तव में यह "लिखे मू सा पढ़े ख़ुद आ" है, वास्तव में 'मू' फ़ारसी का शब्द है जिसका अर्थ 'बाल' होता है, अर्था ऐसी बुरी और उलझी हुई लिखावट कि जिसे पढ़ने के लिए लिखारी को आना पड़ेगा
- जिसका लिखा हुआ पढ़ा न जाए उसके संबंध में कहते हैं

موسیٰ ہی عیسیٰ کے لکھے کو پڑھ سکتے ہیں، بد خطی کے لیے کہا جاتا ہے
مثال • اس کہاوت کے بابت مشہور ہے کہ در اصل یہ "لکھے مو سا پڑھے خود آ" ہے 'مو' بمعنی بال یعنی وہ لکھاوٹ جو بال سی باریک ہو کہ جسے پڑھنے کے لیے لکھنے والے کو بلانا پڑے، اس کہاوت میں حضرت موسیٰ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔
- جس کا لکھا ہوا پڑھا نہ جائے اس کے متعلق کہتے ہیں
