- پسندیدہ مقام ؛ مراد : اعلیٰ و ارفع مقام ، مرتبہء شفاعت جس کا وعدہ خدائے تعالیٰ نے حضرت محمد مصطفی صلی اﷲ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے فرمایا ۔
- (تصوف) اس کے معنی درجہ اعلیٰ حسنات کے ہیں یہ مقام خاص مقبولیت مطلقہ کا ہے کہ جو مستلزم محبوبیت مطلقہ کو ہے ۔
- ۔ حسنات کا سب سے اعلیٰ درجہ ، اس مقام کا نام جہاں حضرت محمد صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم شب ِمعراج پہنچے تھے
