(تجوید) وقف جس میں علامت وقف (ز) پر وقف کرکے کلمہء مابعد سے ابتدا کرنا بھی جائز ہے لیکن نہ ٹھہرنا بہتر ہے ۔

(حیاتیات) مدت جو ایک خلیے کے مکمل ہونے اور دوبارہ تقسیم ہونے میں درکار ہوتی ہے (انگ : Generation time) ۔

(تجوید) قرآن مجید کے وہ مقامات جہاں پر ٹھہر کر سانس لینا اور پھر اس کے بعد ابتدا کرنا اچھا ہو ، وقف جس میں موقوف کلمے کو اپنے بعد آنے والے کلمے سے نہ تو تعلق لفظی ہو نہ معنوی ۔
