یکسانیت ’’ایک طرح کا ہونا، مشابہ ہونا‘‘ کے معنی میں’’یکسانی‘‘ کے ہوتے ہوئے ’’یکسانیت‘‘ غیر ضروری ہے بلکہ الجھن پیدا کرتا ہے۔ لیکن اب بعض لوگ ’’یکسانیت‘‘ کو ’’عدم تنوع‘‘ کے معنی میں استعمال کرنے لگے ہیں۔ مثلاً: ان کے اشعار میں یکسانیت بہت ہے [یعنی سب ایک ہی انداز کے ہیں، کوئی تنوع نہیں]۔ ان معنی میں’’یکسانیت‘‘ کو قبول کیا جاسکتا ہے۔ لیکن بعض لوگ اسے اس لئے غلط سمجھتے ہیں کہ فارسی لفظ ’’یکساں‘‘ پر یائے فاعلی لگا کر ’’یکسانی‘‘ تو بن سکتا ہے، لیکن اس پر عربی کی تائے مصدری لگا کر’’یکسانیت‘‘ بنانا غلط ہے۔ یہ استدلال صحیح نہیں۔ جیسا کہ ہم پہلے کئی بار کہہ چکے ہیں، زبان میں وہ سب صحیح ہے جو رائج ہوگیا، خواہ کسی اور زبان کے لحاظ سے وہ غلط ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔ ’’اپنائیت‘‘ اس کی بہت اچھی مثال ہے، کہ اس میں دیسی’’اپنا‘‘ پر اپنے دیسی انداز میں ہمزہ لگایا، اور پھرعربی یائے مصدری لگا کر’’اپنائیت‘‘ بنا لیا۔ دیکھئے، ’’اپنائیت‘‘۔
