آویزش یائے مجہول، پنجم مکسور، بمعنی ’’جھگڑا، کھینچا تانی، تنازعہ‘‘۔ نظم ’’پیرومرید‘‘ میں اقبال کا شعر ہے ؎ تا کجا آویزش دین و وطن جوہر جاں پر مقدم ہے بدن مرحوم پروفیسر آل احمد سرور مجھ سے ناقل تھے کہ ایک بار سراج لکھنوی مرحوم نے ان سے پوچھا کہ ’’آویزش‘‘ کو باضافت استعمال کرنا درست ہے کہ نہیں۔ سرور صاحب نے کہا کہ درست ہے، اور سنداً اقبال کا منقولہ بالا شعر پڑھا۔ سراج لکھنوی مرحوم نے فرمایا کہ اقبال مستند نہیں ہیں، کسی’’اہل زبان‘‘ کا شعر سنائیے۔ اس میں شک نہیں کہ ’’جھگڑا، تنازعہ‘‘ وغیرہ کے معنی میں’’آویزش‘‘ فارسی میں نہیں ہے۔’’آنند راج‘‘ نے اسے مقابل’’آمیزش‘‘ لکھا ہے، اور مؤخرالذکر کے معنی لکھے ہیں’’احتیاط‘‘۔ یہ یقیناً ’’احتیاز‘‘ کی جگہ سہوکتابت ہے۔’’احتیاز‘‘ کے معنی ہیں، ’’ملنا جلنا، آمیز ہونا‘‘۔ لہٰذا ’’آویزش‘‘ کے معنی فارسی میں ہوئے، ’’الگ الگ رہنا، دوردور رہنا‘‘۔ اغلب ہے کہ اردو والوں نے یہیں سے ’’جھگڑا‘‘ وغیرہ کے معنی نکال لئے۔ یعنی اردو میں ’’آویزش‘‘ کو نئے معنی دئے گئے، اور اقبال جیسا شاعر اگر اسے نئے معنی میں باضافت استعمال کرتا ہے تو اور کسی سند کی جستجو ہمیں کیوں ہو؟
