ارمان پورا نہ ہونا ، خواہش باقی رہنا .

(نباتیات) کیڑے مکوڑوں کی پرورش، بعض پودے مختلف قسم کی چیون٘ٹیوں کو پناہ دیتے ہیں اور انھیں غذا فراہم کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ جانوروں کے حملوں سے محفوظ رہ سکیں یہ چیون٘ٹیاں پودے کو نقصان نہیں پہنچاتیں بلکہ حفاظت کرتی ہیں مثلاً آم، لیچی اور امرود وغیرہ کے پودے.

(نباتیات) وہ پودے جو اپنے رن٘گ و رُوپ اور شہد کی بدولت کیڑے مکوڑوں کا شکار کرتے ہیں اور اپنے غدود کی باضم رطوبتوں کی مدد سے انھیں قابل ہضم بنا کر جذب کرلیتے ہیں ان پودوں میں سب سے مشہورِ پِچر پلان٘ٹ (Pitcher Plant) ہے جو چھوٹا سا صراحی نُما پتّوں والا پودا ہے.
