ماتَم خانَہ سے متعلق دلچسپ معلومات
ماتم خانہ ’’خانہ‘‘ کے لاحقے کے ساتھ جتنے لفظ ہیں کم و بیش سب مذکر ہیں، مثلاً، مے خانہ، غم خانہ، ماتم خانہ، عبادت خانہ، خدا خانہ، بت خانہ، وغیرہ۔ ’’کدہ‘‘ کے لاحقے والے لفظوں کی طرح ان لفظوں کی بھی شکل مقرر ہے، یعنی’’غم خانہ‘‘ کو’’خانۂ غم‘‘ اور’’عبادت خانہ‘‘ کو ’’خانۂ عبادت‘‘ نہیں کہہ سکتے۔ لیکن بعض مستثنیات بھی ہیں، جیسے ’’خانۂ خدا‘‘ اور’’خانۂ ماتم‘‘۔ میر درد کا شعر ہے ؎ ہمیں تو باغ تجھ بن خانۂ ماتم نظر آیا ادھر گل پھاڑتے تھے جیب روتی تھی ادھر شبنم
