جَگ جلا تو جلنے دے، مَیں آپ ہی جلتی ہوں

میں خود ہی تکلیف میں ہوں دوسروں کی تکلیف کا کیا کروں

اَب تو ہُوں میں اُونی اُونی جب ہونگی سب سے دُونی

ابھی کیا ہے، ابھی تو تھوڑی خرابیاں ہیں، آگے چل کر کھل کھیلے گی

میں تو ان کے رگ و ریشے سے واقف ہوں

میں ان کے حالات اچھی طرح جانتا ہوں

باجْرَہ کَہے میں ہوں اَکیلا دو موسْلی سے لَڑُوں اَکیلا جو میری تاجو کِھچْڑی کھائے تو تُرَت بولتا خوش ہو جائے

ایک فقرہ جو باجرے کی توصیف میں مستعمل، مترادف:اگر حسین عورت باجرا کھاۓ توبہت خوش ہو

کوئی جَلْتا ہے تو جَلْنے دو، مَیں آپ ہی جَلتا ہُوں

میں آپ ہی مصیبت میں ہوں ، کسی کی مصیبت سے مجھے کیا غرض

کوئی جلے تو جلنے دو میں آ پ ہی جلتا ہوں

میں آپ ہی مصیبت میں گرفتار، ہوں مجھے کسی کی مصیبت سے کیا
