- allusion to : Mansur al-Hallaj was a Persian mystic, poet and teacher of Sufism. He is best known for his saying: "I am the Truth", which many saw as a claim to divinity, while others interpreted it as an instance of annihilation of the ego which allows God to speak through the individual.

حضرت علی کرم اﷲ وجہہ‘ کے مرتبے میں غلو کرنے والوں کا ایک فرقہ جو اپنے بانی ابو منصور عجلی (۷۴۵ء) کی طرف منسوب ہے ، اس کا عقیدہ یہ تھا کہ خدائے تعالیٰ نے سب سے پہلے حضرت عیسیٰ ؑ کو اور ان کے بعد حضرت علی کرم اﷲ وجہہ‘ کو تخلیق فرمایا ، پھر کل مخلوق حضرت علی کرم اﷲ وجہہ‘ کے نور سے پیدا کی گئی ۔
