- ایک درخت کا نام جو مکّہ کے پہاڑوں پر پایا جاتا ہے اور جس کی چھوٹی بڑی دو قسمیں ہیں بڑی قسم قدِّ آدم تک بڑھتی ہے پتّے اس کے زیتون کے پتّوں کی طرح اور ان سے کچھ لمبے ، پتلے اور نازک ہوتے ہیں اُن پر رواں ہوتا ہے چھوٹی قسم کی درازی ایک بالشت اور پتّے اس کے نرم ہوتے ہیں پھول میں ہلکی سی زردی ہوتی ہیں .
