- गरम चीज़ मुँह में डालना जिसे जीभ सहन न कर सके, उस समय व्यंग्यात्मक रूप से कहा जाता है जब कोई बात ज़बान पर जोर से आती है या कोई अप्रभावी बात कही जाती है, अर्थात ऐसी ज़बान को जला देना चाहिए।
